This fourth of July weekend could not have been more perfect. Amazing friends and epic weather. A crew of us headed out to Montauk to chill on the beach, cruise on bikes, chow seafood, BBQ and watch fireworks on a friend’s lake. Although the small city was flooded with New Yorkers, we found a way to dodge the crowds and take a break from the stressball that is Manhattan. I got back to work today rejuvenated, not to mention bronzed and blonder. BEST NEWS: my glasses were FOUND!!! Summer Jenni is officially in full effect!

Sorry for the hiatus, but stoked I had the watch giveaway up in my absence. Keep commenting, bc I will pick the winner later this week. As for last week, it is a blur of events and work, and work events. We were all over the place, and documented some of it so lets backtrack. Last weekend I spent my Sat in Brooklyn tracking down some clothes for a story I am working on. While there we swung by the Renegade Craft Fair, where I quickly became obsessed with Mean Cards, beyond funny. Can we also talk about how this is the largest bag know to mankind. The other day I found a random camera inside it, my purse is actually birthing electronics. Very strange.
Ranban glasses, supa old dress from ???, F21 sandals, Foley + Corinna bag, thrifted jewelry
Happy Memorial Day! You may have seen on my twitter @dailyworkit, that I headed home for the holidays. I am spending most my time hanging with the fam and thrifting up a storm. My sis and I stopped by the 7 Mile Fair and found a couple diamonds in the rough, but overheated while digging and were forced to cool down with a beverage. I am working on a new necklace and was on a hunt for the pieces, I was amped to collected a bag full of trinkets for $10. My dress ($5), Purse ($1) and hat ($5) were also thrifted a couple days pior, I love midwest prices!

(New bracelet from Hester St Fair, no Jenni so got my Mommy’s name)
I had to overload on pictures to memorialize how jammed packed this weekend was. It was nonstop, starting on Friday when we bopped around to some the new joints in the LES, thumbs up all around.
Saturday def ranks up there on my best New York nights. We started the night at gallery opening for a new friend, which is HANDS DOWN my fave thing to do in the city. Artistic pretty people against the backdrop of conversation sparking art while sipping free drinks, how could I ask for more… I bought this dress at Hester Fair earlier in the day from Wanderlust Vintage, and HAD to wear it asap, I am madly deeply in love with it. It seamlessly transitioned from the glalley, to a photobooth, to a wine bar then dancing till wee hours. Click below for a couple more pics (more…)
I was stoked to find this dress in the back of my closet today! We first met in my room back home, I brought it back to NY without trying it on, and was elated to learn it fit just right. (Mom, is this yours?) I threw on my fave Echo scarf and a pair of sandals on to make a perfect sunny day shopping outfit. My roomie and I stopped by the new Nordstrom Rack in Union Square and I am officially scared for my wallet…That place has insane deals. I left with a new pair of wedges I cant wait to strap on my feet! In other news: I am picking up the habit of twittering so follow me @dailyworkit for insider info.
