Back in the office after my quick Florida trip. I seemed to have forgotten my tan on the plane. This is partly because of a cloud situation, but mostly because I am making a conscious effort to preserve my skin and counteract my teen years spent char-broiling in the sun. I have been thinking recently about my beauty/health routine and want to make some changes. This is where I turn to you all, what are some simple things you do (i.e. take certain vitamins, drink water, apply 15SPF everyday) to ease the aging process and feel better all around?

So I did it. After 5 years of rocking the the same look, I switched it up and I am feeling pretty darn good. I put my hair in the hands of another, and after a million hours and no mirror, this was the final product. Why no mirror you ask? I was a hair model and went though this transformation in front of a class of 20 hair stylist. All the ohhh-ing and ahhh-ing after it was completed definitely softened the shock of the change. Although it is a little darker and more layered then I hoped, I think it is the perfect winter look!

I am not a huge fan of pants, but I felt great today and got a lot of nice words about my outfit. These plaid babies were a thrift store find that I was a bit iffy about, but for $1.50 how could I go wrong. Even though they are 3 sizes too big and labeled petite, it is amazing what a belt and some heels can do. Moral of the story: If it is cheap, give it a chance and you will get lots of compliment…well…might not be that easy…but you get the idea.

Back at work after an AMAZING weekend with my friends and family. I went a little overboard in my fave secondhand store, and ended up bringing an additional suitcase of purchases back to NY. Today I wore one of my questionable thrifted finds (pants) and got a crazy amount of compliments. Pics coming soon!
