(Breakfast at Tiffany’s)
(Breakfast at Tiffany’s)
(Roman Holiday)
(Love in the Afternoon)
I have been quite obsessed with Audrey Hepburn recently. This last week has been a marathon of Love in the Afternoon, Roman Holiday, Charade and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. She is insanely beautiful, has impeccable style and encapsulates old Hollywood. I miss the simplicity of a classic love story and those long gazing glamour shots. I have bunch more movies queued up, but would LOVE to hear your fave oldies so I can add to my list!

The first Audrey Hepburn movie I ever saw was My Fair Lady, and it will always be my favorite! Some other oldies I like are To Kill a Mockingbird and all the Hitchcock films.

I second Funny Face, inspired by Richard Avedon photographs and he was the director of photography. Also Charade with Cary Grant…amazing!

Audrey is a classic beauty but I prefer Grace Jones for her fearless style!

Paris When It Sizzles is another great Audrey Hep flick (really any of hers are a good bet)…I also adore Love Story and The Way We Were, and Marilyn Monroe’s movies are good too (How to Marry a Millionaire, The Seven Year Itch, etc). Hope you find something you like!

I love Audrey too! But my all time favorite is Rita Hayworth in GILDA.
