A quick couple pics from last night’s Isaac Mizrahi event! I am officially in dire need of dropping off my laundry so needed to resort to an oldy but goodie dress. It worked out perfect for the rooftop gathering, and I managed to keep somewhat cool while mingling. I also LOVE this JCrew necklace I got in a goodie bag a couple weeks back, adds a little sparkle to any basic dress.

The weekend is almost here! And to celebrate I wore my newly bedazzled shoes to work today. These bad boys were about to see the donation bin when a glimmer came from the jar of rhinestones I picked up at Hobby Lobby back home. I decided to reinvent my basic black flats with a little bling, and have been walking with a skip in my step since. This may be my easiest DIY yet, just pick up some sparklers and gem glue and go crazy!

[weekend] perfect

This fourth of July weekend could not have been more perfect. Amazing friends and epic weather. A crew of us headed out to Montauk to chill on the beach, cruise on bikes, chow seafood, BBQ and watch fireworks on a friend’s lake. Although the small city was flooded with New Yorkers, we found a way to dodge the crowds and take a break from the stressball that is Manhattan. I got back to work today rejuvenated, not to mention bronzed and blonder. BEST NEWS: my glasses were FOUND!!! Summer Jenni is officially in full effect!

A couple weeks back one of my friends ask me to come over and “Shop Her Closet” for an upcoming college reunion. While we were at it we also created a few outfits for work and play. I put together a little cheat sheet from the evening with some takeaway tips. I must say, wine and creating outfits with fab ladies is a fantastic eve.
